What Is a Motor Vehicle Inspection?

A motor vehicle inspection is a process required by the state to ensure that vehicles meet governing regulations that cover safety and emissions. In New Hampshire, registered vehicles require a safety inspection within ten days of the registration. Once the first inspection has been performed, vehicles are required to be re-inspected every year.
